Actually it does work O_o Personally I had to wait for like 15 minutes before the game actually started, well at least now I can play :/

Sigh... I never pay full price for games, but the one time I do because a game looks really good? All I get is trouble.

Add me to the list of upper end ATI/AMD setups that aren't working

AMD FX-6100 3.3GHz 6-Core
Radeon HD 7850 2GB
(Both preset overclocked, which might be causing issues)
8GB RAM
Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit (Fully updated, as well as drivers.)

I also wasn't able to manually setup DirectX due to the weird service pack error.

This does work BUT it isn't a fix, this problem needs to be sorted ASAP.

Have you tried installing AMD Catalyst 12.11 video driver? For some it gets rid of those long loading times.

:x :mad2: This does not work for me, i've tried re-installing the game twice on Steam, updated my x86 and x64 C++ Re-distributables, using the 12.11 Catalyst drivers, ran in admin, compatibility mode in Vista System pack 2 and disabled desktop composition (aka Win7 Aero), have current DX11 installed, using Win7 SP1. I've also tried to delete the HKSkip.exe and let Steam re-aquire the file but that didn't work either.

I'm pretty goddamned desperate for help as i've been at this since about 8 this morning and it's almost 1:30 on a sunday night.

My comp specs are as follows:
Intel X58 Motherboard
i7-975 3.3GHz (OCed to 3.85GHz)
x1 Radeon HD 6950 2GB
8 GB G-Skill RAM 1600MHz (9-9-9-24)

Have you tried contacting our official tech support team for help with this issue? They're far more technical than me and will be in a much better position to answer your queries.
