I might have missed this in the 101 trailer, but what kinds of shops will they have? Will you have to buy your cars? Since you can furnish and upgrade your safehouse will you have to get it at a shop?

from what i understand, theres soup venders, clothing shops, massage parlors, night clubs...pretty much everything from True Crime NYC and the Yakuza games (a brothel maybe??) is available to interact with.

far as the cars, i THINK you can store stolen cars but im not sure about that. i think someone DID say something about a car dealership being in the game to purchase cars. also, im not sure if there will be CAR CUSTOMIZATION...which if there isnt, is no big deal to me since ill mostly be biking it or on foot taring up 1 section of the city.

far as safehouse items, it would be neat if they had an ingame website where you could shop ONLINE for the items you want and they show up at your house, that would be a first in gaming.

Ill-thoughts has practically summed it up but I did read in a preview that cars wont be saved at your garage if you steal them. There will also be car dealerships too. Yea I'm wondering about how you are gonna get the upgrades for your apartment, Maybe there is a floating logo in your apartment which if you go to opens up a menu for safehouse upgrades

You buy cars from dealerships, so they are stored in your garage, Stolen vehicles can't be stored.

There's no way to store stolen cars? I would imagine if they added all the other stuff they have in the game, they would add some way of saving a nice sports car for later.

Stuff To Do (from what I've gathered): Dating, Gambling, Cock Fights, Fight Clubs, Clothes/Food Shopping, Karaoke, etc. Other stuff is mentioned in the IGN Live video.

Meh, don't you end up killing them both? I mean, isn't that your mission?

Yes, but your choices end up taking you left or right. You choose whether to be good or bad.

But in the end you aren't on a side anymore so you can kill whoever you want.

Pretty much what people have been saying, although their are many unique races by land and sea also. You can upgrade you're apartment with punching bags, take out that old bathtub and put in a new hot tub for you're apartment.

You also have those jobs, favors for people in the world. One that was mentioned was that you do favor for a guy and then he will be able to be called on the phone by Wei and he will bring a car to you, so he is you're personal valet service at your fingertips with one call.

Some ambient events like drug dealing and shoplifting are also in the game. you also have to take into consideration if you are like me that roaming the city in a new one like this, is the most fun part, and i will be having gaming days just for roaming for several hours. The game by no means is a rush game, you do a mission, roam, go to shops, play some gambling, go to the water for a swim lol. Drive some boats around the island.

Oh yea you can also handcuff a cop if you like for fun also. :D

When did they say that? I don't remember them saying anything like that  Is there an article or something?

Did they announce you can handcuff people if they do a crime? Sweet! I thought I heard you couldn't do that anymore.

Max from Destructiod said in a commentary review of the game he saw this happen, Wei using the cops cuffs. Have the video posted somewhere around here. As for civilians dont think so, but police yes, bc you are using there handcuffs.
